Dishwater maybe? Well you know, water with some dish soap added. Sunscreen seems to be greasy at times, the soap should help with that aspect.
But I don't have any actual experience with it.
My daughter is practically bathed in zinc/titanium oxide sunscreen every morning before she goes to camp, and now I've noticed little finger and handprints all over our wood furniture. I'm sure she is leaving behind these prints from the sticky residue of the sunscreen. It does not seem to easily wipe off with paper towels and water. Any recommendations for how to remove them? (We don't use any harsh cleaning chemicals at home... mostly just a water + vinegar solution in a spray bottle, so any "natural" cleaning methods would appreciated!) Thanks, moms!

You do not need harsh chemicals to clean a house. How about just some simple soap and water and elbow grease? haha
I was hoping to find the answer, because I got some on the outside of my car, and could never get it off! My suggestion would be to wait until you're out of the house (and car maybe?) before covering her with lotion. The zinc oxide formulas provide a physical barrier, so they take effect immediately, when you put them on (as opposed to the chemical barrier sunscreens, which take 15-20 minutes to take effect).
P.S. I would maybe call a local furniture store and ask for advice as to how to get it off the wood.
That stuff is VERY hard to get off. My friend's son wears zinc oxide on his scar when he goes outside but she never lets him put it on in the house. Maybe switch sunscreens...
