TanTowels -online, at Macy's and at some Targets! They're easy and really real looking -and you just wipe them on!
I'm looking for a 'not too expensive' sunless tanner that WORKS. Any recommendations? I will only be using the product on my legs. I am fair skinned so I am not looking for something that will be really dark. Any help would be great!

I recommend Mary Kay's Subtle Tanning Lotion. It is only $16 and all of my customers who use it love it. Many of them use it on their face also. As always, there is a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.

I like the Olay lotions that have self tanners mixed in. they getyou there gradually and dont streak. Stay clear of the Vasiline ones..they do streak
Fake Bake! I can't say enough good things about it. It's $30 a bottle but it will last you all summer! A little goes a long way. It doesn't smell like so many of the others and it's got a bronzer in it. You can actually see where you've applied it. I can put it on an hour before going out (heck - even 30 mins if I'm in a rush) and it looks FABULOUS!!! I get it at my hair salon (Salon 864 in Greenville SC). It is truly the best stuff and I've tried everything! I'm fair skinned too and just don't tan that much. This is perfect for any complexion. It really adjusts to your skin tone. LOVE IT!!!
Note: Whatever tanner you choose, you need to put lotion on first, especially around your ankles, knees, and elbows. Also, Fake Bake comes with latex gloves which you need to apply it (or you'll end up with it all over your hands - it's that fast!). Good luck!
I love Jergens natural glow, have been using it for two years now. It looks great, never orange. Just be sure to apply evenly (especially be careful around toes and ankles), and wash your hands or wipe them off on a towel. I have just a little natural tan, and I use the medium/dark. The medium just doesn't have enough color in it for me.
The inexpensive choices that I had used and thought were pretty good are no longer available. Sorry – I’m now going with an expensive one, Mystic Tan. At $38 a pop, it isn’t cheap, but I find that I don’t need to use it as often as others that I have used, just every two or three days. It is a fairly large tube compared to some others I have used. It also lasts a lot longer without looking patchy and does not rub off on clothes. I use it everywhere that shows and my first tube lasted over a month. If you just use it on your legs, you may get through the summer on one, very expensive tube. Incidentally, I am fair skinned too--red hair.
Hi R.!
Neutrogena! I have been using it for years and it doesn't turn orange or look fake. I usually use it in the Winter and people always compliment me on my "nice tan"!
Have fun!

I have fair skin and LOVE
Jergens® natural glow Revitalizing Daily Moisturizer for fair/light skin. I apply it every couple of days to maintain a light tan on my legs. Simply hop out of the shower, towel dry, apply, allow to dry and voila. No streaking, no mess. And the color is pretty natural. I've found if I put it on everyone it's too much for my light skin and looks less natural.
Give it a try! Best, L.
Hi R.,
Loreal Sublime Bronze is good. I have used numerous self tanners over the years and it is a good one. I use the tinted lotion. Another good one is Sally Hansen airbrush tan. It can be hard to find but CVS usually has it. Both run around $11.
I love the Jergens. I use the one for fair skin tones and use it daily. It doesn't look fake at all. My only problem is sometimes the top of my ankle is just a touch darker. But not really noticable to anyone but me. It is also a great moisturizer. Highly recomend it. You can use it every other day or so if you prefer, too. Good Luck!
On a side note... your husband is my hero and so is your family. Thank you for the sacrifice you guys make to ensure this world is a better place. :)
jERGENS WORKS WELL. i LIKE THE CREME FOR MEDIUM TO DARK SKIN TONE - EVEN THOUGH I AM FAIR SKINNED AS WELL IT LOOKS NATURAL TO ME - NOT TOO DARK JUST ENOUGH THAT I DON'T GLOW. GET A CHEAP PACK OF THIN RUBBER GLOVES FOR APPLICATION AND YOU WON'T GET IT ON YOUR HANDS
Neutrogena micro-mist airbrush sunless tan. I love this product!! It's not expensive $11/can and it goes a long way. I'm still on my first can after 5 applications. It's not messy, it dries within minutes, and it doesnt smell. You spray your body and within 2 hours your tan shows. It's not streaky and the tan looks real, not orange. It gradually fades. Spray yourself daily until desired tan. Then just once/twice a week to keep your tan.
