Hello...I am starting up a photography business, just a small one out of my home, and I would like all suggestions for a name for my company. Something cute. It is going to be mainly focused on kids, but I will take adult and animal photos also. All suggestions will be accepted. Thanks

What can I do next?

How about "Kid Klics" kinda sounds like KidsCuts so maybe easy to remember too.

Browse through www.Etsy.com They have a lot of really great sellers with unique names. I'm not suggesting to copy a name, but maybe you can get an idea from there. Some of my favorites from there are The Black Apple, Atomic Veggie, Studio Pink, Bubble Time, Scarlett Cat, I'm Your Present...

Take 2 words you think are cute, and put them together until you find a good match, like, Twinkle Cookie (not taken if you want it :).

When I picked out my shop names, I knew the one had to do something with jewelery, and I really like mythology, and wanted kind of a romantic sounding name, so I kept playing with words until I thought of Jeweled Ambrosia, and it's perfect for what I do.

As for my other shop, my hubby had to do a business plan for a fake company in college, and he came up with Little Lovables, since it was for a puppy training service. ANd that name stuck, because I make cute little things.

Another thing, is think of words you like from character traits like, simple, pure, clear... and look up alternative words in a thesaurus.

C.,
Funny, I just did this for my own company. I wanted something that sounded professional, big enough to grow in to as my business expands, something easy to find in the phone book, and something without my personal name in it just in case I ever get into franchise sales, etc.

I sat down and thought about all of the businesses I use frequently. What does their name mean to me? Is it easy to remember? My mom was a hairdresser for 33 years and worked in many shops with cute names. I wrote them all down and started from there. When I found something that fit, that's what I used.

I go into people's home or offices and organize their closets, kitchens, storage areas, workrooms, and file systems. I ended up choosing Organization Unlimited as my business name. It was also available when I applied for my DBA in Arlington and Tarrant County. (You might want to have 2 or 3 options in case your first idea is taken!) Good Luck! B.

I am not sure what your last name is but what about:
"B___ Photography: Creatively Caputuring Memories"
"Chelsea B___ Photography"
"Photographable by Chelsea B___"

When I am looking for a photographer, I know my first reaction is to avoid those with cheesey names. Those with professional or creative names always catch my eye.

I am not sure what kind of photography style you incorporate (photojournalistic, portraits, etc.) but you could incorporate that into the descriptor for your businesses name.

Good luck!
