Babytrend sit and stand but the one that comes with two seats.

Hi Ladies,
We have a new baby due early Feb., and our son will be 2.5 then and we think he'll definitely still want to sit in a stroller when he gets tired. Any suggestions for a good double stroller for a baby and a toddler, that's easy to maneuver, affordable, and not HUGE? Maybe $250 max. Also, I'd like for both kids to be able to see (even if one sees backwards and one forwards). I'd hate for one kid to be stuck looking at the seat of the other kid like I see in some double strollers.
Thanks,
L.

I'm due in March with # 4 and # 3 will be 2.5 so we have to buy a double too. I ended up deciding on the Graco Duoglide. Hopefully it will be good. It had good ratings on Babies R Us website. We ended up buying it off of Amazon cause I got a better deal on price. Sorry I can't be of more help.
I have a LO due in Feb also and my oldest will be three. We are looking at the Contours Options or Optima models. I like that you can arrange the seats in different configurations. like both facing me, out or facing each other. I saw them online at Babies R Us. I looked at the sit and stand but didn't like the fact that my oldest would be closest to me and and riding backwards and the baby at the other end of the stoller, I prefer to have the baby closer.
I could have said that research on double strollers was my 2nd job when I was preg with #2 I looked around so much. My son was exactly 2.5 when my daughter was born too. There were so many factors to consider; sun shade, basket space, ability to accommodate weight on both sides all the way from infant to older toddler, lightweight, something I could easily maneuver in and out of doors, and I really wanted a side by side because I think it stinks when one kid has to be in the back.
After much deliberation, I went with the Bob side by side double stroller in orange. Suffice it say, I LOVE it. Ok it is quite a bit more than you want to spend...but we were able to get an insane coupon from REI and got it way down on price. We bought the rear velcro cupholder/storage attachment, but that's all I bought for accessories. You can buy the bar that is a treat tray on one side, and the infant seat holder on the other; which can later be converted to a 2nd treat tray. But we opted out of that...I just secured my infant (around 2 months) with headrests you can use in a car seat, and lots of blankets to keep her from bouncing around until she was big enough to sit up in the stroller. The sun shade is awesome...the basket underneath could be better in terms of accessibility. But it's fine. And the rest of the features are fabulous. I even took the kids out last winter when we got the 20 inches of snow, and it glided all the way to Toys R Us with no problems at all! Guaranteed Bob strollers were the only ones out that day!!!
