Hi moms,
Do you have any suggestions for a place I can have my son's 3rd birthday party? We have done the first two at home with family and friends, but would now like to invite his daycare friends and have it somewhere outside our home (I estimate there would be 10-15 kids attending).
I really liked the idea of Abma's farm in Wycoff... but think it would be too far for most parents. The daycare he goes to is in Rutherford, NJ so somewhere close to there would be ideal

I recommend BounceU in Paramus. It is close to Rutherford, you don't have to set up, clean or cook. They do everything for you. Check it out. http://bounceu.com/
It depends on how much your budget is for the party. The children's museum in Paramus is nice for that age. My son goes to preschool in E. Rutherford and they went for a trip there. It is great for that age. Also I have heard there is a bounce place in Nutly or Bloomfield but don't know the details. Liberty Science Center is nice but a bit further and more expensive.
On an unrelated note, there is a Ladybug Festival in Rutherford this Sunday.
Try Little Gym on Rt 17. We went to a few parties there when my son was that age.
Bounce-U in Paramus is GrEAT!! You don't have to do anything except watch how much fun the kids have. I had my daughter's 4th birthday party there and it was a hit with the little ones. The employees there are great and there's always one party going on at a time which is wonderful!
I just had my 3 year olds birthday at Jumpnasium in Fairfield and we invited 15 kids from his preschool and it was great. Everybody loved it (both the boys and girls!) and the parents also had a great time. They took care of everthing and the party coaches were very friendly with the kids. It isn't too far from Rutherford, I live in Lyndhurst.
