I think you are pregnant. I had to take 4 pregnancy tests before going to the doctors to get one that came up positive. You just may not have enough of the hormone that detects pregnancy yet. You could go to your doctor and ask for a blood pregnancy test. Those ones are better than the urine tests. Good luck and I hope it comes out the way you want it to.

I waited a few weeks after I was late. I was also regular but every 6+ month my routine changed so I thought it would be that. I always had cramps right before the first drop of menstruation came down and I was feeling like the cramp was going to start but it never did. Little did I know that was the egg fertilizing. Wait a while. I heard it may be positive if you wait at least 3 weeks after you are late, but it can definetely be a change of cycle.

Sometimes just a change in routine, stress, weight or even going on vacation can throw you off. I would wait another week because I had a time when my periods changed to every 45 days instead of every 30. We were trying to get pregnant then and it was horrible to have to wait that long :o) I had gone off of meds and that happened.
Best Wishes,
J.

One of our friends never got a positive on her pregnancy tests. She went and talked to her doctor and I believe had an ultrasound which found a little pre-baby hanging about.

I am also very very regular exactly 28 day cycle. When I was trying to concieve my daughter and would be a week late I would take a test and the line would be very very faint you'd really have to look hard which would mean it picked up a pregnancy hormone and I was pregnant. But... I would miscarry a few days later and have horrible cramps and all that..

Then finally after that happend about 5x on me I took a pregnancy test the line was faint, and would take another test a few days later and it would be a little darker and so on and finally I had me a baby.

There's a million reasons why that could be happening to you. I'm not saying your miscarrying but it is a possibility. If I wouldn't have taken so many pregnancy tests I honestly may not have known I was miscarrying ang just assumed I was a week or two late with alot of cramping. If I wasn't trying to get pregnant in the first place and paying particular attention to everything I would have thought nothing of it.

You can take apart a pregnancy test and just take the piece of strip that has the lines if your pregnant or not and hold it up to a light. If there are two lines you are pregnant. Sometimes you have to really look hard for a faint line.

I've had this happen to me. I was 14 days late once...it totally sucked because we were TTC. I think I wasted about 6 pregnancy tests and went to the Dr twice. Some women never get positive pregnancy tests when their pregnant. Sometimes, it's too early in your pregnancy that perhaps your body hasn't produced enough of the hormone yet to produce a positive pregnancy test. I've also been told that every pregnancy is different, so your body may experience different symptoms that you may remember from previous pregnancies. Give it another week and try not to worry about it...sometimes, worrying about it can delay it.
