There's something called stuffed animals for emergencies. http://www.stuffedanimalsforemergencies.org/
I think they might be able to take some off your hands.
Hello Moms...once again I go to you for good ideas. I have a TON and I mean a TON of stuffed animals of all shapes, sizes and characters. It is a weakness of my husband to get them a little something when he travels or takes them out for a daddy date. However, I am at my wits end and want to scale down the mountain of stuffed toys. However, I can't seem to find a place to donate to. Most places would prefer new stuffed animals due to germs or allergies. I have given myself a month to find a place to give these gently used toys a new home. I wouldn't have thought it would be this hard. Any ideas would be most appreciated. Thank you!

I know our elementary schools ask for stuffed animal donations. We live in Bartlett. More specifically, I know that Sycamore Trails Elementary school does because I donated some to them last year. Good Luck in your search!
Have you tried a shelter, (morningstar mission or daybreak).
Also, some nursing homes might take them. They use them for prizes in bingo.
I got rid of several on freecycle and ReUseIt. I mentioned they were from a pet and smoke free home and got rid of them quickly.
