My child has outgrown our travel system stroller, yet we'd like one more substantial than the typical umbrella stroller. Ideally, it's more comfortable than the umbrella version and sturdier, but still travel-friendly. Looking for one with a 55 lb max. capacity (hoping this is the last stroller we'll need!) Any recommendations?

Peg Perego Si. Just got it for baby number 2, but it is still big enough for my almost 5 year old!

Check out the Britax B-Nimble or Cybex Onyx.

I did a TON of research to find a stroller for my then 4 year old, and after much research, taking measurements, calling companies for dimension information, etc., we decided on the Maclaren Triumph and LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It has a high weight limit, I believe 55 or 60 lbs (which we all know you can use even longer, but that's their stated limit), it folds like a regular umbrella stroller, steers like a dream, has a basket underneath, and it fits my large 5 year old son well.
