working for a derm, I am familiar with the cream and you're right it really does not have a scent. You should be ok
Most of you mamas probably don't have to use anything like Strivectin neck cream yet, but I'm hoping there might be a grand-mama or two that knows.
I ordered some Strivectin neck cream from eBay. I've never been scammed on eBay yet, but wanted to know --- the cream I received doesn't smell spoiled, but doesn't have a nice scent at all. I just wanted to know if it's supposed to smell "not scented".
Thanks for all the good responses!! I feel better about my purchase --- we'll have to see if it really works now!

Hi P.,
I don't have the neck cream, just Strivectin SD, and it smells a little "medicinal". I originally bought it when I started getting stretch marks during pregnancy. I now use it on my face, though it does cause break outs sometimes. I haven't noticed a huge improvement in my fine lines, but I don't use it every day. Also, a little goes a long way!
Sincerely,
L.
Dear P.,
I’ve not used this product myself, however, I did do some research for you. From what I've gathered, depending on the "maker" of the StriVectin Cream the smell will vary. With-that-said, few skin creams intended for the face and neck area have a less than pleasant smell. I.E. If it doesn’t have a good smell, clean smell or neutral smell I would return it. If it's spoiled you have wasted your money and it will not work. Also, is there an expiration date? MOST if not all, cosmetics now days have an expiration date somewhere on the package - if not - then the product could be old.
Best of luck,
D.
P.,
you were not scammed. I have used it and it does not smell nice at all. In fact I have noticed several other companies that put similar products and they don't smell nice either. Kind of has that rotten egg smell to it.
Smells not so nice, but does work well.

What is this cream for?
Hi! I'm a licensed medical esthetician. I have sold a lot of my clients that neck cream - it's a top seller. The cream should not have a rancid smell but it does not have that French -perfumey scent either. The whole Stri-Vectin line is fragrance free and very medicinal smelling - not like a spa line that has lavender and roses etc. I tell my clients all the time- it's not about how the product smells but what it will do for your skin is what is important. Remember always to massage upward on the neck- gravity already pulls things down so we want to counteract that! Also- be very careful what you buy on ebay. If anything you should purchase from a reputable place like Nordstrom or Sephora because they have a great return policy and you can also compare your product that you bought with the one that they sell to be sure it isn't rancid. Hope that helps!
Hi P.,
Strivectin use to be sold at Nordstrom. But, the department store discontinued it due to it's side effects for some women. But, it is still active at Sophora and the company's website.
Anyhow, I am a 30+ yrs old mother of a 18 mos and I have been using neck cream for prevention. I buy mine at Neiman Marcus by Natura Bisse. They have the best. I love their products. Try it. I know you would love it too. Good luck!!!
