I know how you feel. I have tried lots of different things to and no success. Honestly, keep moisturized to reduce the chances of getting more, time or surgery are the only things that can get rid of the ones you have. And time is only to fade them.
The biggest thing you can do is look at them from a different perspective. ie: love marks (and your little one loved you a lot, lol!), Mommys badge of honor, etc.
Remember; you earned those marks by doing something truly incrediable, making and growing another human being. Take pride in that! No one else really care about them, its your own acceptance of your body you need to come to terms with.
Good Luck Mama!

Strivectin SD for stretch marks used to be available by prescription only is not available over the counter. It is pricey, but really works. Check Costco.

Hi Kristina, I was looking through my medical notes and I came across this so I wanted to add it: Cushings syndrome causes stretch marks on abs, thighs, butt, arm and breast. You could look up syptoms online to see if any others match with you.
An endocrinologist would be the doctor to see if you think your stretch marks are related to your adrenal system malfunctioning.

Stretch marks can be a sign of zinc deficiency.

Also vit c is needed to build collagen. Stretch marks are when the skin is breaking down. Don't take vit c supplements- eat more oranges and strawberries. (God puts the other vitamins in those fruits that are needed for you to uptake the vit c.)

Magnesium oil on the skin helps with wrinkles- so it should help in some way.
Everone really should use magnesium oil- since that is one element that is severely missing in our food supply now.

I have some stretch marks from my pregnancy (19 months ago), and I started using Quantum Derma Scan Reducing Herbal Cream about 6 months ago. Probably would have been better if I had used it right after I got them, or used it more regularly (directions say 3 to 5 times a day, I get 1 or 2 a day), but I can definitely see a difference, they look a lot better. I actually bared my stomach at a triathlon a couple of weeks ago, and although I did sort of cover my stomach with my arms a bit while waiting around, no one noticed them. I like that cream because it is mostly natural, I don't really want to put nasty things on my body. You can get it at most natural grocery stores, or iherb.com.

Lather with cocoa butter. I have stretch marks from my teens and so thought that I would get more through my 3 pregnancies. However, I lathered with cocoa butter and got no additional marks. Worked for me! (And they do fade in time from the red to light and silvery.)

Hi Kristina,

Sensaria Natural Bodycare has several things that will help your skin. It is important to make sure that it is hydrated and moisturized and not to use anything with petroleum, mineral oil, or wax in it. What I have used for my scars and I have had SO many others use with great success is the Sea Silk Mask and for moisturizing anything in our line. The body butters are wonderful and the Jojojba Oil line is the best. The Sea Silk Mask works by going down several layers and bringing the new cells to the surface faster which will minimize the stretch marks. For some it could take just weeks and for some it could take months, all a matter of skin type and such.

Our body butters are on special this month too so check it out.
