Did anyone else get an email message from mamapedia telling you to click on a link in order to continue receiving updates? I got one AND I haven't been getting updates, but I am always hesitant to click on any links like that.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I did NOT click on the link in my email, but when I logged onto the site here I noticed I had a notification on here. I did click on that one. I am not getting the daily emails anymore though. I saw that some people said I can lool under my preferences, but I have not done that yet.

J., I wrote them about that. They told me not to click on the link, but then they sent me an email telling me they needed me to click on the link in the email. I don't know if both links were the same or not.

Now I am not getting ANY emails from them. Before I clicked on the darn thing, I WAS getting emails. Grrrr...

Update us if you figure this out, will ya?...

Tks!
Dawn

I quit getting the daily e-mails a LONG time ago. If they asked me if I wanted them, I don't remember. I just log on the old fashioned way.
When the site was mamasource, I opened the daily e-mails and was logged on that way, but I haven't done that for a long time.

Just my experience. I don't know how it works for anyone else.

You can always control everything about your preferences here at the site. Never click anything you are suspicious about and instead just come here and check your preferences in your profile to make sure they are set how you like them. It's that link in the upper right corner where it says (Your name here)'s Account.

A quick way to get to your email preferences is to click the (change) link in the upper left corner next to your home city and state. (Going to try and link it here) ---> http://www.mamapedia.com/my

Then scroll down a little until you see the link "Update My Email Preferences" in the lower right. Set it how you want and there you go. (The direct link to email prefs is this. Hope it works.)

It sounds as is it could be a "phishing" email. I would not click the link, but I would forward the email to mamapedia to have it checked out.

I got the same thing 2 weeks ago and clicked on it. I have updated my email preferences and I still do not get the daily emails. Annoying! Don't know what else to do..

I got the same thing. Went to the "reset" area and still do NOT get mamapedia daily in my email anymore :( Just have to login the old fashioned way. I saved the site to my favorites and go in that way.

I didn't click on anything, but I am not receiving my e-mails from Mamapedia since yesterday. I already checked my spam blocker, and nothing is there either. Ask to the Mamapedia support. I am doing that too.
