Have any of you bought these for your kids? My kids and niece really want them for Christmas, so I'ld like to get them. however, I just went online and 4 pairs of them is $79.80...that's fine. The shipping is $55!! HOLY COW! Do you have them? Are they worth it? Can I get them in the stores anywhere or am I forced to pay this insane shipping price?
We just saw the commercial and my 9 yo said he thought they were stupid. I asked him if he noticed they didn't show the price and he said ya, probably cuz they cost too much. He's so smart. =) Just give it a month or so and they will probalby show up at Walmart and Walgreen's like the Pillow Pets did. And NO, I would not pay that price for those stupid things! =)
My kids want them, but they won't be getting them. My kids are not embarrassed to like little kids stuff at all. Son is 13... he likes what he likes and is unashamed. :)
But, if they get slippers they will be the $9 variety from Old Navy or something. I refuse to pay the insane shipping rates for something I can buy up the street. And I know I can't get Stompeez or whatever, but I can get slippers, right?
I seen the commercial NOWAY will I ever pay that kind of shipping for anything.I have bought slippers in the past & they will not stay on my childs feet no matter what.But if you want to waste your money on silly slippers that are over priced & shipping rip off go right on ahead & take a pic before that moment is over & they don't wear them after Christmas morning.
I ordered stompeez Dec. 4, called once every week for a delivery date I was promised I would have them by christmas the company didn't tell me what year!!!!! Christmas is gone an I am Still waiting.
My 9 and 5 year old want a pair. I even got an email from Stompeez because we bought Pillow Pets online last year. Not sure if we are going to make the purchase. I have been mulling it around in my head. I am waiting to hear more responses to your post.
My daughter loves stuffed animals and what more could a girl like that want than stuffed animals on your feet for heaven's sake!??

I went to the website and it is crashed. I also went on disboards and a woman claims they sent her the wrong sizes after making her wait 2 months due to being sold out. She wrote they changed the sizes. She also says you can't hardly make the ears go up.
I know several chain stores that carry pillow pets. Are they made by the same people? If so, it would be worth calling. They will sell out fast. shipping is 6.95 per pair and the slippers are 19.95 for the first pair with 20% off additional pairs.
