Has she been having regular bowel movements? She could be constipated. Maybe menstrual cramps? I see lots of kids with stomach pain when there is a math test...
So today, I had to pick my daugther up from school 1 hour early because of stomach pain. She visited the nurse twice. She said the first time, she ate some crackers then went back to class and it felt better. Then it hurt again. She went back an hour later then she called me. She came home and I made her make sure she did not have to go to the bathroom. I made her a sandwich and it made the pain even worse. I gave her some Peptol Bismol (however its spelled) and it wont work. She toke it 2 hours ago. It hurts her if she sits down or lies on her stomach. She said it started after lunch. She had chicken strips but did not like them and thrown them away and ate a little bit of ice cream. I now know its not hunger. She says she feels hungrey but when she eats enough to fill her up it gets worse.
Advice?(shes 13)

I'd talk to a doctor. Sometimes kids get a stress stomach and feel awful because of assignments or tests they are nervous about (our school nurse posts about this a lot). Keep an eye on her, check for fever, no more pepto, and get her in to the doctor if she's still hurting tomorrow morning.
Could it be her appendix, or gall bladder? I'd google that just for curiosity, and probably call the dr in the morning if she is not feeling better.
No Pepto for kids! It contains aspirin--there's a Reye's syndrome risk or something. There is a children's pepto!
Is she nervous or upset about something?
Does she have any fever?
Feed her clear soup broth and have her sip some ginger ale (warm or cold).
Stay away from ice cream and dairy for a bit - dairy can aggregate an all ready irritated gut.
You don't have to actually eat any solid food for a long period of time but it's always a good idea to keep your fluids/electrolytes up.
Norovirus is making the rounds (it's usually what people call stomach flu - has no relation to actual influenza) but it just causes gastroenteritis which is vomiting and/or diarrhea.
It can clear up in 24 to 48 hours.
In the mean time a heating pad on low on her stomach might help relieve some cramps.
I have no issues with Pepto but my go to medicines for this are Imodium and Gas-ex.
She's a bit young for gall bladder trouble.
Could be menstrual cramps or appendix - but if it's acute appendicitis it'll get rapidly worse and she'll be in a lot of pain (like so much she can't stand up) and you'll have no doubts about rushing her to the ER.
Has she started menstruating yet? Was she sure it was her stomach? Dont forget the tummy is higher up & some girls ovaries "cramp" pains hurt a lot before their cycle.
Call doc in the AM
