I am 25 weeks prego and since yesterday i have had really bad stomach pains. I couldnt even lay down to sleep last night. This morning my stomach only hurts a little and the slightest bit of pressure hurts. At first i thought it might just be gas and took two gas x strips last night but i did not help any. What could be causeing this n should i see the doctor? The last time i felt the baby move was early this morning.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

well, going to the doctor was a waste of time. I did find out I am not in preterm labor. Luckily the pain went away, I guess it was just gas or maybe a gallbladder attack that went away.

Call your OB asap. Don't panic but don't take answers from a forum. You need a pelvic exam to determine the cause. Hang in in there and best of luck.

J.,
Please call your doctor or stop by an emergency room. You don't want to take any chances!!! It could be gas for all you know, but it could also be something serious. Just go by your doctor's office and if they can't see you just go to the emergency room then. It's better to be safe than sorry.
Blessings

Go to the DOCTOR!

Nobody here is qualified to diagnose you and if it's something serious you will hate yourself for not going in. If it's nothing, you'll still feel better that you had it checked out.

Go to the DOCTOR!

I would never take any chances, your doctor should always have some sort of call system for their prego patience to call at any time-day or night. I call any time I have something out of the norm...
Could be a bit of toxemia, you just never know... Please call!
I hope it is just growing pains but better to be safe than wondering.

I would definitely get into see the doctor - ASAP!! I had similiar symptoms when I was 35 weeks pregnant and it ended up being an infection that they couldn't find until they delivered the baby - 5 weeks early. Thankfully, she was okay but my placenta was infected and the only way to counter that was to deliver. Not trying to scare you - but go see your doctor if this continues - also check to see if you have a fever. Good luck.
