My daughter is 8 years old and for the past 3 weeks eveyday at school she has a stomach ache and even throws up during her morning math class. Once she gets through Math she is fine. I have tried Ginger Ale, Crackers and anything else I can thank of. She says it is not the teacher that she likes him and she has always loved Math. Any suggestions on what I can give her.

What can I do next?

If it's not the teacher or the class, then there is something else bothering her. It might be another student, a bully, or another adult making her nervous. If she still insists it's none of those it might be environmental, a cleaner used in the classroom or the perfume someone wears.

Could be so many things - stress, anxiety, someone in the class, something that happens just before class, the after shave or perfume worn by the teacher, the detergent used by the child who sits next to her, molds in the ventilation system in that room, etc. A lot of postnasal drip causes stomach upset - could be the time of day, what else is in her stomach (or not in her stomach) at that time of day, or more. I have a friend who did amazing work shutting down a school where so many kids and staff got sick - she was an amazing advocate. There is a supplement you can give her that may help but if that doesn't work, you should insist on some environmental testing in the classroom - what cleaners are used, what's up above the ceiling, what's in the vents and filters, what's in the pad under the carpet (if there's carpet in the room or the room she's in just beforehand), and more.

I agree with Sarah that if you've ruled out stress, you should look for environmental factors. I had an English class that gave me a bloody nose every single day. No joke. I have no idea why, but the school nurse thought it might be mold in the classroom, or something else that is triggering an allergic reaction.

Try Aloe Juice. Be careful though...not all aloe juices are alike. This one is great. I get the strawberry kiwi and my kids love it. What aloe does to the skin when we get a sunburn.....it does to your insides too. This will heal the digestive track and should help any issues she has going on in there. It will also boost her immune system and keep her healthy. Fewer colds. :)

My daughter is the smae way and here is what I found works for her:
First food, everything is worse on an empty stomach, any food, just eat. Second humming helps, if in an appropriate place she hums right when she starts to feel sick, or more when she feel like vomiting. I give her ginger gum, or ginger candies (preggy pops and candies are also perfect for nausea). And Rescue Remedy spray by Bach, spray in mouth during stressful things, get at health food store/vitamin store in yellow bottle. Lastly, for us its completely mind over matter - my daughter gets nauseous and even gets a fever and her favorite grandpa can walk in the room, throw her in the air and be funny with her and ALL the symptoms go away including the fever! Maybe you can send her to school with a new secret envelope everyday and inside is a new set of jokes/comic strip/funny picture of you/silly story that she can pull out when sick and have something to look forward to??? Good luck
