Hi, I know it's not wise to ask medical advice online but its now after hours, and I don't want to cause a ruckus if this is nothing. I had a c section Wednesday and I feel a slight stinging in the outer left corner of the incision site. It's not bleeding. Is this just part of healing process? Of course, I it gets worse I will definitely call a doctor, but is slight stinging when moving normal? Thanks!

Completely normal. If it is really bothering you try putting a wash cloth or towel over the spot and then an ice pack.

I vote normal. Part of the nerves healing. It would take more than that to be infection.

I remember the itching. It's apart of the healing process. No need to worry. Scratch or rub around it but try not touching it if possible.

That sounds normal to me. Are you still taking your pain meds?

Wednesday, as in just last week? I would say this is absolutely part of the process. Stinging when moving, definitely normal! Still call the Dr to be sure, of course. I definitely don't think what you are experiencing, is anything but typical.

Normal. It is an incision. It will sting might be uncomfortable and later on will be possibly numb. Excessive bleeding or oozing "stuff" call. Each day will get better.

that sounds normal. I remember having a buring / itching sensation around my incision too. I would not worry, or at least I think its fine to wait until tomorrow to call. I would be much more worried about redness or oozing - those are def signs of infection.

I agree with the others, it is very normal, I remember having that too. I would just rub around it (not the incision itself) when mine would burn or itch. As long as it isn't red or oozing what would look like infected material then you should be fine until you get the stitches or staples removed (I had staples).
