P.G.
I found one at a friends house and borrowed an old grocery sack to trace it onto. I went home and made my own on some scrap wood my husband had. This has been really good. The kids have enjoyed it
Can anyone recommend a good stick horse pattern? I have found one for $15 online and don't know if it's worth it. We have 2 stores locally that sell patterns, but not currently stick horse patterns. I would prefer something to sew as opposed to a sock, but at this point will look at anything!
Thanks!

We got a cute plush-headed stick horse, with sounds, at Costco for $15. Of course, you can never guess what they'll have at any given time, but It sure sounds like a better deal than buying a pattern for $15, then the materials and labor!
Also, it had wheels on the end of the stick, which was awesome.
i made a cute one using a water swimming noodle. Fleece tied like you do with the fleece blankets for his mane and tail. You flip the top of the noodle down to meet the other tie it with rope to keep it. Hot glue the fleece hair on draw eyes and you done. You now have a very soft darling horse. Hope this made a little sense.
Keep looking online. Either you'll find something, or you'll find a picture of a storebought one that you can blow up enough to make your own pattern. I don't like buying patterns if I can help it-I like to figure out how to make it myself w/o a pattern if possible.
Good luck!
If you mean a broomstick with a horsey head on it then why not buy one at Toys R Us for $9.99. That's how much ours was. If not, can't help, sorry! :-)
