look up and contact the "headstart program" i got my daughter into preschool at three years old. She had to be potty trained but they got her in very quickly.
I was wondering if any of you have your children at a state funded preschool. My daughter will be turning 3 in November and i would like to put her in preschool. We make to much for headstart but we qualify for state. I am some what new to the area and new to enrolling in preschool and was wondering how to go about it.

Hi K., My daughter is in a state funded preschool where my other two children go to school. I would suggest you see what schools are near you and if they offer the state preschool..most schools that do the Headstart program also have the State program as well. Hope she has a great time! D.
If you are going back to school at one of the community colleges in the area, they offer day-care in a preschool format on a sliding scale. My daughter atteneded the one at Folsom Lake College and the one at Sac City and enjoyed going to both. It is a great source for daycare/preschool while you are in school since she will be close by while you are in classes. I hope this helps.
Try the Ben Ali Child Care Center and see what they say. I also live in Natomas and Ben Ali works for me. They have preschool programs at different school locations (for North Sac School Dist). I am a single mother and make too much for everything but I was able to get on with Ben Ali Childrens Center for my daughter. I don't have the phone number off hand but you can look in the phone book or online and get the number. Hope that helps.
I love it!!! I am a Daycare provider. I have an in home Daycare and I have a 3yr old. I have 2 children that are in state funded preschool. My own and a child I care for. Granted they have the same program as I have in my home. But to me it better for the children. They are not with the same kids all day. Those 3 hrs a day really help.
