Abby and I are really ready to meet new people and get out of the house. Is anyone interested in staring a playgroup (maybe once a week and/or every other week). I would be willing to host (we just moved in and the house is a mess, but what the heck!)
I also did not know if any of you moms would like to get out for a Mom's night. My girlfriends and I back in Indy would have PO-KE-NO night (like BINGO, but your po-ke-no card has faces of the deck of cards and you call off of a deck of cards. We would all bring a $15 dollar gift. When you won you would pick a gift. You play until all the gifts were gone and then play under a time limit and if you won you could steal gifts. We would gather for an hour and then play.) Is anyone interested???

I'm A SAHM with a 9 month old and a 27 month old. My sanity saver has been going to the YWCA (Normandy & Crooks in Clawson) Thursday mornings. They have a Moms group that meets from 10-12 and childcare in a room down the hall. I keep the baby with me but my older one loves playing with the bigger kids in the childcare. I would be interested in something like this. I only have Fridays available though. I work Mon-Thur. I think I have some other friends who would be interested too.
