Hi H., I started loosing a lot of hair after a prolonged hospital stay, I'm usuing Ovations hair shampoo, conditoner and cell theropy, and I am having great sucess with that, lack of hair loss and new hair growth. My husband ordered in on line for me. J.

I'm not sure if there is anything you can do to stop it, but I do know that it is normal. Even as much as you describe. I was so worried I asked my doctor about it, and she said that the hormones from breastfeeding was causing it. I lost clumps of hair until I weaned... Good luck!

Hi H., I too went through this with both my girls and i know it's coming soon since i'm barely 6wks post partum, one thing I used to do is since I showered right before bed I wouldn't untangle my hair, the less you can brush it/pull it the better and I know you're doing that allready but maybe you hadnt thought of not untangling it? Good luck!

Hi H.,
When you are pregnant - you don't lose much hair. Then, some time after giving birth
you lose all that hair that you would have lost over 9 months. I would recommend brushing your hair to remove it BEFORE you shower. The hair is going to come out anyway, and this way you wont clog your drain! We had to call the plumber after I had my children!
Just know that it's normal and don't worry.
If your children take naps -sleep when they sleep and don't worry about housework.
Best of luck to you,
Linda
