In previous years I've owned Sears Kenmore brand refrigerators that look like they are stainless steel but they really aren't and you can still use magnets on their fridges. But 3 years ago we bought our first true stainless steel LG brand fridge. For 3 years I've gone crazy not having my "command center" front and center on my fridge. So my question is, is their a product out there that connects some way to a stainless fridge door that still allows me to use magnets? In the beginning I tried using tape, big mistake, it leaves the worst markings on stainless steel. What are my other options??

No, the fridge is pushed into a built in space with no walls on either side. So, no access to the sides and no wall to the side either that could become my "command center":(
A search online gave back results for something called a choopa board.

We haven't installed ours yet, but I always thought that we would get a magnetized board on the wall that could also be written on, for our toddler to use. Maybe that's an option for you?
ETA: Our refrigerator is encased in a built-in cabinet, so we can't even use the sides.
I put everything on the sides where the magnets work.
I put up a big, magnetic white board on our kitchen wall. For now, it just holds magnets because our kids are too young to write on it responsibly, but when they're older, we'll use it for messages and stuff. My SS fridge front is semi-magnetic, but it was getting scratched by the magnets, so there's nothing on there anymore!
We have the same issue. And ours also is encased in a built-in cabinet. Very nice finish work on the cabinet, too, so not something I want to go pounding nails into to hang a corkboard on.
I found a space on a wall next to the pantry (or use a pantry door maybe, inside?) and hung a corkboard/dry erase/magnetized board. It isn't quite as big as I would like, but it "works". I also thumbtacked a calendar to the wall. It is a 30 day monthly calendar, so I can write appts on it and see the whole month at a time.
You get used to it over time...
Do you have access to the sides? Magnets still stick to that.
I have a bulletin board on the wall across from the fridge. Works just as well.
We have a white board calendar that hangs in our kitchen n the wall. We update that monthly with activities and chores.
We also have a stainless steel LG and I had no idea it didn't hold magnets until we got it. I have a small space on the side we can see, but it by no means makes for a command center...I've got some pictures on it and that's it.

Another idea is have you considered using the inside to a cupboard.
