I have done airbrush tanning where a tech sprays u. 40 dollars a time.. Would do that if I was getting married. But I found that a mystic tan.. Google mystic works great at a salon. I live in Seattle if I buy a package of 3 I can get 20 dollars per tan. I have done this 15 times.. Some tips.... Exfoliate the night before.. Wear black clothes loose clothes afterwards. Use the hair net they give u. And apply the cream to the tops of ur feet and on finger nails. Then hop in machine press button it is loud spray noise.... It's sprays fine mist takes on 3 minutes. It last a week. Or a little less if in the chlorine every day.. I go a medium shade so I don't look fake. Also tell the people u are new at the salon to mystic tan.. Sometimes for new clients they have a buy one get one free tan.

I did not have a good experience. Was going on a cruise in Dec of 2010. SIL and I went and it left us blotchy. We couldn't scrub it off fast enough. Good thing we went a week early. I went to a place in New Braunfels to fix it and they were very informative. It was only 2 days away from the cruise so I decided not to do another one BUT they have 4 sprayers there where as the one we went to only had 2. Front and back didn't work well. Don't know where you live but we went to a place in the Forum in Selma. Never again. Don't know the name of the one in NB but its in the Marketplace shopping center. It's generally about $50.00 a session but they offer deals. Good Luck....

not totally natural looking, but a huge improvement from pasty white.
Last about two weeks
$25 a pop though i got a group-on so it may be $50
No just one for a natural looking tan. More than one for a dark tan.
I washed it off face after about an hour so you get some, but not a lot. it makes me break out if I leave it on and its the one thing that can look really fake.
not sure of safety, but better than sun

One thing to consider, you will feel really exposed. Even the gynecologist gives you a sheet. It was one of the most naked moments of my life and not in a good way. I may wear a G string next time.

I've never seen one that looks "natural." What's wrong with the skin you're in?

Good luck to you and yours,

First of all-yay for you! Nothing ages like tanning. I have tried many and my favorite is St. Tropez mousse. Amazing and well worth the money-which I think is around $25. If you can buy the mitt that they sell this will help as it really stains your hands fast. This will last you several days if you take care of it and exfoliate first and then make sure to moisturize. There are a ton of you tube tutorials for this that will really help teach you how to do it.

But let me share with you my new favorite thing-its that Sally Hansen spray for your legs. I saw on Dr Oz that Tamra from RHOC uses that so I bought a bottle. I LOVE it. The great thing is that it works instantly. I use it on my whole body. I sometime mix it with moisturizer in my hand or just really noisturize before putting it on. This is so great for this time of year where one day you can wear shorts and the next couple you can't. It washes of in the shower so it is not like the other kinds of spray tan.

my daughter gets spray tanned for large pageants (twice a year). it last for 2 weeks i think on her (she is bathed everyday and swimming etc). we pay like 40 bucks i think. she loves it and says it tickles (its cold). hers looks natural because i ask for her not to be mexican dark because shes blonde. she has sensitive skin and it has never given her a reaction before. we lightly tan her face too.
