Hello,
I'm hosting a fundraising event on September 20th, 2008 in Pioneer Courthouse Square. The event will be a 1 1/2 hour Zumba dance event to help raise money for Jamie's Heart Foundation. I chose Zumba because it's becoming extremely popular and is a unique and fun way to help raise money and awareness. For information on Jamie's Heart Foundation, please visit www.jamiesheart.org.

I'm hoping there are some local businesses that would be willing to offer donations for our cause. Obviously, cash donations are wonderful, but I'd love to have some fun stuff to raffle off, ie: gift certificates to restaurants, spas, children's stores, etc. Also, decorations, printing services, etc would be awesome. Anything will help. I'd love to add your company logo and information to our event brochure and announce your company name during the event.

This is my first fundraiser and I'm totally overwhelmed. Thanks for your consideration. Please contact me with any questions.

Thanks,
D.

I would be happy to donate a couple of our hazelwood necklaces for your cause (www.hazelaid.com). Here is a blurb that explains what they are:

"All natural, organic, handmade hazelwood necklaces that provide relief from eczema, acid reflux, teething pain, etc.

Hazelaid was born when our family was introduced to the amazing healing properties of hazelwood products. These necklaces made with pieces of wood from the hazelnut tree have the unique property of absorbing the excess acid produced in our bodies when it is in contact with our skin.

Hazelwood necklaces were originally used by native americans to help aleviate their babies' teething pains. They have since been shown to help with numerous other ailments all related to an imbalance of acidity in the body.

Our necklaces come in adorable baby-safe child models, fashionable adult models, as well as bracelets and anklets.

If you suffer from:

Arthritis,
Osteoporosis,
Acid reflux,
Heart burn,
Ulcers,
Acne,
Cold sores,
Eczema,
Headaches,
Migraines,

...it is highly probable that you are suffering from an acidity imbalance. These hazelwood necklaces can help you alleviate these symptoms in a natural way."

You can contact me through Mamasource or the website if you have any questions and to let me know where to send them.
Hope your fundraiser goes well!

Hi D.

Would you like some PakNaks (www.PakNak.com) to raffle off? We could give you a mini backpack or a lunchbox decorated with some Naks and put 10 PakNaks inside as the prize. Let me know if you're interested. We would love to help and spread the word about our PakNaks.

Thanks
A. M.

Hi D.,

I am opening a kids/maternity consignment store starting this Saturday at SE 80th and Foster Rd. I would love to donate a gift certificate for your cause as this is such a great thing you are doing! What is the latest you need stuff by? I am currently getting the logo created and then can get a gift certificate created lol. Everything would definitely be done sometime in August, but if I knew your latest date I would work toward that. Keep up the great work!
