I do what I want with my hair, but I also know what my hubby likes and meet him somewhere in the middle, asl ong as I'm happy.
My husband really likes when I have my nails done, so I go every two weeks nad keep a nice french manicure on them. I also know he likes red polish on my toes, which I do too! I normally have some shade of pink in the summer and red for the colder months. I guess it works that we both like the same kinds of things like that, but what else do you or don't you do beauty wise that your husband likes?
ETA: My husband is just as happy with me in some sweats and a tank as he is with me in my birthday suit...just little things that he likes (and I like the nails too). It is nice to see thought that the majority of husbands are happy ino matter what we have.
I'll also add that I've put on a decent amount of weight since we got married. Two kids and a lot of stress later, but he has never once said anything about it. I know he loves me for me...even when my nails are unpolished, my hair is in a pony tail, and I have an attitude like no other :).
My husband finds me just as attractive knee deep in dirt working in the garden as when I put on the dog. So perhaps I am not the right person to ask. There are times when I get a wow but it has nothing to do with cut, color, nails and the like, wows tend to come from attitude. :)
Um.... shave my legs & keep the mustache at bay?! ;-p
Let's just say when my husband is home (he travels a lot) I'm a bit more diligent with the waxing and "up close" stuff. Other than that, my work outs, hair dos, outfits, etc are what I like. I don't do anything he "HATES", but our tastes are pretty similar anyway. I was "myself" in all my of splendor (ha ha) when he picked me out of a crowd the first time we met :)
I really love my wife. Before we got married I asked her what she wanted or expected of me. She asked the same of me. I did what she asked of me. I asked her to grow her hair long. Down to her bra long.
I don't know why I like long hair. I just do. She doesn't have to bother with make up or ear rings or powder or paint. I love her the way she is or wants to be. I just want her to keep her hair long. She shaves when she feels like it.

My husband is no help. I had a feeling that i knew his answer. Naked. I said no, i mean red nails...straightened hair...anything?? To him i dont need anything, just naked. I guess i am lucky. There has to be something though...i will get back to you :)
I am so particular about my appearance whether my husband is around or not, that I think I do things more for me than him. He benefits, of course. ;)
Hair is my big expense. I have difficult hair - thick, coarse, frizzy - but if I spend a fortune on it, it's not so bad. I get it straightened, cut, and colored often. Other than that, I shave my legs every single night, but that is because I have never been able to sleep unless I shave before I go to bed. My husband doesn't care about nails, but I usually have a french manicure, and my toes are always painted. As for clothes and make-up, I like to be comfortable when I'm home, preferably in pajamas, and I rarely wear make-up. My husband has always said he will love me know matter what, but he does benefit from the things I'm particular about. :)
My husband asks me not to wear makeup. He says I look better without it. Geeze, twist my arm, why don't you! lol... His request (well, one of them) requires less work from me, so I willingly oblige. :)
what amazes me is that my husband simply does not seem to notice and rarely voices any preferences except with excess hair. He notices when I'm in shape but dares not say much when I'm not. He likes when i ehh umm keep trimmed. Other than that my hair can go nappy and frizzy, my makeup undone, my toes unpainted and he does not notice. So I do those things for me. As for trimming and staying in shape. Well, I'm doing okay on staying in shape and as for the trimming- when kids stop bathing with me i'll pick it back up. He's happy enough with his "70's" wife.

Everything i do for my husband is also for me.........nice nighties and underwear, blonde hair, modest makeup.,He likes pin up looking shoes- so do i, hge likes a curvy butt and i certainly dont mind having one, shaving etc....
He could care less that i wear the latest nail color, or pluck the eyebrows
he would prefer it if i didnt wear capri pants (he hates them with a passion, but i hate baseball caps so we compromise there.
My husband has no real preferences, really. He likes when I change up my hair, so that's really nice. I don't ever have to run anything by him. He does like when I wear jeans, but I like that too. He's easy, I guess. He likes the way I look, and has never seemed bothered by anything I do. He did especially like my hair short, but he doesn't dislike it long. I don't know, we just don't need the other to do anything specific. That's just us, I guess.
Well I try to keep my legs shaved :D A major work of love from me!! When I am not prego, I keep my legs etc shaved and smooth ;) I really don't care much about it, so it really is for him. I put on a small amount of make up daily, like eye brow pencil, concealer, mascara and lip gloss so I look fresh faced, I do this for myself as well, but he likes it ;) I put something on that is ok looking daily. Like capris and a top or jeans and cute shirt. I don't just wear sweats everyday. Although I must confess that today I do have on workout pants and a tee-shirt bc I am due in two weeks, so I figure I get a pass in the looks dept ;) I just got new highlights though, so my hair is looking pretty good :D I just try to look pretty and somewhat put together but I think the shaving thing is the one thing I truly do for him bc when I was single I only shaved when I was going to wear shorts etc, I know he is grateful for that one!
My husband is so simple. Big boobs and blond hair wind his clock. So, I wear low cut shirts when we go out and I keep my hair very very blond.
Shockingly relevant question! My husband is one of those that loves me for me, too. And "me" is usually pretty frumpy. I have 3 under 3 and have only just surfaced to realise that I have been living in yoga pants and tee-shirts for too long! Now he has never complained, nor would he, but I am so sick of it! I am ready to look like a girl again!!! Headed for makeup and grown up clothes! And some serious hair help!
