Spider Vein Removal - Pittsburgh,PA

I am thinking of having my spider veins removed from my legs and I wanted to hear from anyone who has had the procedure done and what the experience was like. I have spider veins on my left thigh and the back of my right leg above my calf and they are very embarrassing. I am only 36 but my legs don't look it! The veins got worse when I was pregnant and my fear is they will continue to get worse and maybe turn into varicose veins. Luckily, I have no pain associated with them. I have a consult scheduled in a month, but I just wanted to hear some stories. Thanks!!

What can I do next?

My insurance covered my varicose veins. It was one of the best things I've ever done. My feet no longer swell and my spider veins are much less noticeable. I went back and had several of my spider veins injected. Insurance doesn't cover that and it hasn't been as successful. They are slightly improved. It may be that several injections are required, but I'm not so worried about it right now.

About 12 years ago I had the saline injections, it is less expensive than laser and better results. Now, after 2 pregnancies I have new varicose and spider veins and I am going back again for injections. I am happy with the results. The needle they use is quite small. I don't think it hurts any worse than waxing.
