First, yes, this is normal breastfed baby poop.
Sweetie, at 5 days, it's way too soon for breastfeeding not to work out. Your milk is only just coming in. Please, contact a lactation consultant. Many of the problems that women are having can be remedied, and the benefits are well worth it - but most women don't seek out qualified help. Contact a lactation consultant - and your local La Leche League leader (the LLL is free help) Good luck
totally normal, you will get a wide variety of colors! Enjoy the assortment he gives you!!
Oh--every day will be a surprise! LOL Baby poo has lots of different looks. He's fine. Right now it's all about "things moving In and things moving OUT!"
hi R....that is 100% normal. baby poop's consistency looks very weird right now, like little seeds mixed in mushy poop. it's totally fine...i think it's by the time the baby turns 3 months that the poop changes again. don't worry about it! have fun with him now...time flies! i look at my 3 yr old daughter and i remember her weighing nothing and fitting into my arms...=(
Completely normal and healthy. By the way, over the course of the next several months, the color and consistency will abruptly change many times...
My doctor had told me - As long as there is no blood in the poop , it doesnt matter which color it is.Just to let u kno my son's poop were green color .
Dont get worried.
Totally normal. Don't be surprised at many unusual consistencies & colors. The only one my doc said to call right away for is black, very sticky, tar-like poop.
Dear R., congratulations mommy and Yes this is normal! all new babies have yellow poop. Grandma Mary

That's what a normal new borns poop looks like. Our child birth preparation class did a section on 'the scoop on poop' and what to expect. I think it's covered in "What to Expect the First Year" book, too.
I totally remember that poop stage for both kids of mine! It's totally normal and expect several more changes for the next couple of years.
Congratulations. Sounds normal. Just enjoy your baby.
