Hi Jodi, you can make almond milk by yourself if you have a blender. Soak organic almonds overnight in filtered water, rinse it. Put in the blender with filtered water and blend well on high speed, then strain with milk bag or cheese cloth. It's delicious just like this, or you can add natural vanilla w/out alcohol or anything else like banana, strawberry for flavor or maple syrup or soak dates to sweeten the milk. Plane milk will stay in the refrigerator for 2 days, other you need to use right away. No commercial milk can compete with benefits of home made!
P.S.: By the way, search for Carrageenan ingredient information on line, that's the one that makes Silk milk so thicken smooth and likable by many people.
There is a few soy/rice milk products without carrageenan.
