I agree with April! They are good right off the bat! At first I thought the motion (the lowest setting) was going to be too much for her, but she loved it.

The minute you come home from the hospital! They are never too young for the swing and it's a great way to soothe them. With twins, you're going to need a safe place to put one while you're feeding/changing the other, so the swing is perfect option.
Congrats on your new babies!

As a mother of fraternal twin girls myself those swings will be your lifesaver-lol! At least it was with me and I put them in as soon as they came home from the hospital. I didn't know there was an age rule? Oh well they are 7 years old now and still alive so I guess it didn't hurt them any-lol! You might rather invest in those travel swings instead. They take up less space and best of all they can be packed up into the car and taken anywhere!

You can use them right away. Babies will let you know if they like it or not. For my son, he would get tired of the swing after a minute or two, but he loved his vibrating bouncy chair. They will let you know what they like. Good luck!

As soon as you get them home from the hospital. My daughter loved her swing the first 3 months, after that she wouldn't even get in it without throwing fits. Just make sure their heads are propped up. Congratulations!

It was the only place my 11 month old would sleep when she was a newborn. I had a Graco swing that I felt really surrounded her well. I think she thought she was stll in the womb.

Congratulations!

Hi Mama-
I laughed at this because my sisters all hated the day their babies grew out of their swings. When they are newbies, make sure the rocking is very slow, but really, I think they can be put into them at any age. If you are asking about outdoor swings, I think they list the age and weights on the packaging. It just takes a little detective work in the store to check those things out.
Good luck and happy swinging!

I'm sure that you've already heard this, but we put our son in the swing within a week or two of him being born. In fact, he slept in it (swaddled and secured) quiet often, because he was congested a lot and sleeping more upright helped him. It also helped with his acid reflux.
