A great recipe for the beef stew meat would be beef stew. Here is a great and healthy recipe from Cooking Light. http://find.myrecipes.com/recipes/recipefinder.dyn?action...
My husband and I make it all winter long and often even entertain with it. Enjoy.

Here is our favorite round steak stir fry recipe growing up and now our family.
Chinese Beef and Rice
2/3 cup rice
2 Tbsp oil
1.5 cups BOILING water
1 bouillon cube
2 tsp soy sauce
1 medium onion, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
2 cups diced COOKED beef (round steak)

Heat oil. Add rice and cook over medium heat until golden brown. Add water, bouillon cube, and soy sauce. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Add rest of ingredients. Cover tightly and simmer 10 more minutes (you may need to add more water). All water should be absorbed at the end of cooking time. If not remove cover and allow liquid to evaporate. 2 generous servings. Feeds our family of 4 (age 2 and 4 and us)

To make it easier/faster I have started to use the frozen stirfry mix (peppers and onions) instead of chopping up the onion and green pepper. I also sometimes add water chestnuts. Enjoy!

Here is one of my favorite dinner ideas for the whole family.ENJOY

Beef Stew in Slow Cooker ( Crock Pot)

1- One and a half pound beef stew meat ( marinate it in a ziplock bag, with a little olive oil, salt, black pepper, dry oregano leaves, garlic powder- for 2 hours)

2- Chop onions, carrots, celery and saute it in a skillet with some olive oil and butter, add a couple pinches of salt and black pepper- saute for 4-5 minutes.

3- Add 2 large potatoes, cubed to this mix, saute for 2 more minutes.

4- Take the cooked veggies out and transfer them to the crock pot.

5- Cook meat over medium/high heat for 8-10 minutes and transfer it to the crock pot as well.

6- Add beef stock for liquid- and let it cook for 2 hours over high in the crock pot.

7- Server with a loaf of warm bread or rice,

Go to allrecipes.com and look up apple bacon stuffed porkchops. They are so good! They take a little extra work than a typical weeknight dinner (at least for me) but my husband raves about them and begs for them all the time ever since I made them.

Swiss Steak -

Cut up the round steak into portion sizes and place in crock pot with a can of stewed tomatoes, some sliced up bell peppers (any and all colors that you like) and sliced up onions. Adjust cooking time for the amount of meat and size of your crock pot as appropriate but usually on low for 5-6 hours will do.

Serve with rice or potato.

Good luck,
K.

recipes.com tends to have lots of ideas. It should all freeze well enough for now though.

I'm vegetarian, so I don't have any recipes for meat! :)

Find a good dry rub for the pork chops and grill them with some veggies and potatoes. Honestly, it is the best and only way we ever do pork chops anymore! (Plus it's super easy!)

I don't do much with beef stew meat, but I bet you could make a stroganoff with it or make shish kabobs. My son LOVES shish kabobs because of how cool they look, and I love that he eats all of the veggies that night because he loves the way they look!

You could do tacos, hamburger barbecue, meatballs, burgers, lasagna, pretty much anything with the burger meat!

I second doing Swiss steak with the round steak. Mmmm it is so good. Again you could also just put on a dry rub and grill it on up.

Can you tell we grill a lot in this family?!?!? Have fun!

You will need the following ingredients.
Hamburger
Velveeta cheese
onions (optional)
Pepper - to taste
Milk

Depending on how many you are going to feed with this recipe depends on the amounts used. For 6 people I recommend at least a pound and half of hamburger and about 3 inch slice thick of Velveeta. Milk will be to smooth out the cheese. (1/8 cup or so)
Fry the hamburger up like you would to sprinkle on pizza. Add onions when cooking- putting in amount to taste. Drain away the grease that is left. Put the hamburger back into the skillet and turn it to med low. Cut the chunk of Velveeta cheese in slices, somewhat thin. Add the cheese to the skillet. Pepper to taste. Stir. Slowly add milk a little at a time until you get the thickness you would like as the cheese melts. If it starts to stick, lower heat. Once the cheese is all melted. Dish up on bread or buns.

This recipe has been used many ways since I have started giving it out from use with taco sauce, (on taco's) as a dip (more milk added for less thickness) to many other recipes I probably don't even know about.
For kids, it is great with tator tots and a veggie.

Paula Deen has the best recipe for goulash made with hamburger meat.

Or with hamburger meat you can make a great shepard's pie -usually a kid hit too. brown ground beef with diced onions and red and green bell peppers. I usually use frozen peas/carrot mix and frozen corn and green bean - just steam slightly. Add to meat. Add one or two jars of beef gravy - depending on consistency you like. Put in baking dish. Then top with mashed potatoes (I make from scratch) or you can top with drop biscuits or store bought biscuits. You sprinkle parsley and paprika on top and bake til bubbly. My sister has made this using tex - mex seasonings and corn and kidney beans instead of veg and topped with jiffy corn bread mix - really good too. I've even used frozen broc, caul, carrot mix and topped with crescent rolls. The pork chops I would smother - southerncooking.com has best recipes for smothering chicken, pork chops, steak.

Hi S., here is a great recipe for pork chops cooked in the crock pot (after browning first on the stove). I've been making this for years & my whole family loves it. They turn out so tender you don't even need a knife!

Crock Pot Pork Chops
Ingredients:
3-4 pork chops - the thicker the better, bone-in/center-cut kind
1/2 cup flour
1 Tbsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 Tbsp. oil
Can of Chicken & Rice soup (the Large family size)

Directions:
Dredge pork chops in mixture of flour, salt, dry mustard & garlic powder. Lightly brown chops in oil in a large skillet. Place browned pork chops in a crock pot (I usually spray the bottom with non-stick spray first). Pour soup over the chops. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours. I usually make Stove Top stuffing and a vegetable side dish (my kids love corn casserole) to go with these because the chicken & rice soup that you cook them in doesn't really provide a side dish, just makes the chops nice and tender. Enjoy!
