Hi Everyone:
I have a 2 year old daughter that loves soccer (she will be 3 in May). Does anyone know of any soccer leagues for this age group? I live in Tamarac but can go to Sunrise, Plantation, Weston, etc. She loves to kick the ball and I think she will enjoy this alot!
thanks,
terez

So What Happened?

Hi There:
Thanks a bunch Kim S., I called the YMCA in Weston and they offer 2 classes a week for 3 year olds. So I am signing her up! This was a great help...I can't wait!

Check out the West Broward Family YMCA - ###-###-####

I know that they have had Tiny Tot Instructional Classes for as young as 2 years old in Soccer and then a number of different sports once they are 3. If you are a member, then you get the member rate but anyone can sign up for recreational classes like this one.

The YMCA is located in the Weston Regional Park.

The YMCA has a 2-3 year old soccer. I had my 1 1/2 year old in and she did great. It's alot of chasing around but she enjoyed it. I live in Parkland but I'm sure they have the same at all YMCA's. Good Luck!

The only thing I have seen for that age group locally is the soccer tots program. I believe there is one in Weston and Coral Springs. Check their site:

Try Play Ball - they focus on gross motor development and let kids try all kinds of sports. It's perfect for her age. They have classes in different areas of South Florida, I think they have classes in Weston and Davie.

You should check with your local YMCA that is a good place to start when they are that age.
