I use Clean and Clear microscrubbing face wash and I have a blackhead removing tool that I got at walmart for about $4. I also use a clearasil/spf oil free lotion mix every day. I just mix the two in my hand and apply. It keeps most major breakouts at bay. Make sure you are washing your face before bed and in the morning and always keep your skin from getting too dry/oily.

It really depends on what's causing the pimples. If it's hormonal, it takes more than just scrubs and cleansers. If it's just regular acne type pimples, I found the Arbonne line to be quite helpful when I was breaking out. It's all natural ingredients, which makes me feel great about using it. Good luck finding something that works.

My daughter's dermatologist recommended Cetaphil. It is over-the-counter and inexpensive.

I use cetaphil or store brand since it is not really soap & it works quite well. I use an over the counter medication like panoxyl but if that doesn't work maybe you should go to a doctor. Scrubs work good to exfolitate the dead skin you could try that too.

You might want to get a facial at a good skin care spa to really get rid of the pimples. They will unclog your pores and do a thorough cleansing. It is safe for them to unclog the pores because they will treat and soften your skin first and open the pores with steam. This is a lot different than you squeezing the pimples yourself! Then you can try any of the products that others recommend. One thing I have heard is that you should choose one brand of cleanser and pimple cream, rather than mix different brands. Usually they are made to go together. My son uses Acne Free products. You also need a moisturizer (non-oily). Making your skin too dry by using soap can cause your body to create more oil and therefore more pimples. Gently scrubbing with a washcloth can help take off the top layer of dead skin. Don't overdo it - too much scrubbing can irritate. Also drink more water to stay hydrated.

Proactiv works very well but it's expensive and you have to keep it up daily. The best way to get rid of acne (seriously) and it costs very little is to make a mask of egg yolk and put it on your face for fifteen minutes a day. I think it's the vitamin A. I tried everything on the market when I was younger, and even took accutane (that also works extremely well but has side effects and is a real commitment) But now for occasional breakouts I just use egg, and it works better than any product out there.

ALl three of my daughters have had great success with Panoxyl Facial soap...there are 2 different strengths that I know of....5 and 10 %...I would start with the 5% and see if that is strong enough to help. You can usually find it in the skin care section of grocery stores but we also carry it in our pharmacy ( you don't need a prescription) and it is somewhat cheaper than what they carry out in the store itself.
