What's your trick to keeping the water out of a baby's eyes when giving them a bath sitting up in the tub or sink? I have tried the cupping hand over the face and I still manage to get water in my son's face, which naturally he hates. He loves bathtime, but hates when I'm trying to get the shampoo out of his face. Any tips/advice to make the entire bathtime more enjoyable would be helpful. Thanks!!

At Target and Walmart they have pitcher that you hold against your childrens' forehead and it goes in their hair and stays out of their eyes. My daughter has stopped screaming when I wash her hair thanks to that! I can get you the name of it if you want it. I have to go to Target tomorrow.

We hold a washcloth on my daughter's forehead, or she hold it herself. That absorbs the water.
Good luck,

We use a sprayer attached to the showerhead and tip her back so the water goes in the other direction. Then you only have to use you hand to cup a little water away from the face. We have the Leachco bath bumper/seat so she doesn't mind leaning back on it.

The sassy bath visor is awesome! My kids wore them from the time they were babies until about 3 to keep the water and soap out of their eyes. They sell them at babies r us and are only about $5.00. Good luck!
