D..
No, but you need to go to the doctor.
I went to lay down did not reach my bed in and fell to the floor could this cause a miscarriage?
No, but you need to go to the doctor.
A minor fall probably won't cause issues with the baby, but if extreme dizziness is becoming an issue then there could be something wrong with the mama. Glucose levels, anemia, dehydration, low blood pressure, etc. You need to call/see your doctor to talk about what happened.
Interesting first question
Not likely, because the fetus is pretty well protected. A huge fall down a flight of stairs, maybe, but dropping to the floor isn't usually a cause. But the dizziness should be evaluated by your doctor and you should find out what caused it (low iron, low sugar, excessive morning sickness, and more) and learn good ways to prevent it. I'd call the doctor on Monday, and I'd be cautious in the short term about eating small regular mini-meals/snacks and choosing healthy foods including a good mix of protein, healthy fats (nuts, avocado, olive oil), and fruits with a good sugar content. Also lots of water.

Maybe you should ask your Dr!!
Just a fall from standing to lying on the floor, I doubt it.
BUT, call YOUR doctor because that's not safe for you. You need to make sure you're ok.
No. But if you are concerned, contact your doctor.
You may be anemic (faint).
Probably not.
Drink more water.
Babies are pretty well protected in the womb, but you may be dehydrated, or you may have high blood pressure, so this is something you should report to your doctor. If you do not have a doctor or are not getting pre-natal care, please seek out a free clinic.
Extremely unlikely. Are you having any cramping or bleeding that caused this concern, or just the fall? Light headedness can happen during pregnancy, don't panic, just mention it to your doctor. If you actually lost consciousness, I would go to the doctor ASAP. If you just got dizzy and stumbled, I wouldn't worry at all.
Hi M.,
I slipped and fell on some ice when I was about 10 weeks along and he came out absolutely perfect and remains so to this day, 14 years later.
I agree it's worth at least a call, if not a visit, to your OB just to be sure. also, did you have any loss of consciousness? If you blacked out, you may have hit your head. I would pursue it with your doctor just to be safe. feel better!! S.
Are you saying you passed out? You should certainly see a doctor.
