Kind of a silly question but I have gotten wonderful ideas on here before! We are going on a week long vacation and I am looking for snack ideas. No refrigeration and healthy. So far I got Lara bars, raisins, nuts, fruit snacks, dried fruit, crackers, cereal bars, granola bars. I usually buy organic or kashi brand. Any other ides?

What can I do next?

There's some cute ideas for kids snacks here. The banana and coconut chips taste sooooo good together!

sounds like you have plenty of snacks. maybe some peanut butter for the crackers, or a bag of apples.

Popcorn? I'm afraid I'd have to stop at the store along the way and get fresh fruit like grapes and those "cutie" oranges. Seems like you already have lots of choices.

Peanut butter pouches together with pretzel chips make a good snack, or applesauce pouches (if the dried-fruit section doesn't have them in organic, head over to the baby food aisle).

Trail mix made up of cereal and combination of nuts and dried fruit is also good.

I've started making my own bars. If you have a food processor, it's really easy, so much cheaper and you're sure about what goes in them. I usually use dates and walnuts - both really good for you.

I like the nut crackers from Blue Diamond - they're great alone or with cheese or a spread of some kind. Sounds like you've got it under control!!

Can you bring a small cooler? I only ask because on road trips we get so tired of dried goods. I start craving berries or anything juicy. Hope you all have a wonderful time!

Peanut butter or Nutella. They both have individually packaged snacks. Also, in the juice box aisle you can usually find milk that does not have to be refridgerated. My family doesn't drink milk but sometimes I need it for a recipe. These boxes work great. Have a great trip!
