Have you thought of weight watchers it works great if you can stick to to it. They now do everything online so if you cannot make it to meetings.
Has anyone out there tried the Smart Cookie diet? I'm curious about trying it, but not sure how they taste. I looked up the info on their web site & it's not really inexpensive so I would like to know before I start what other experiences have been with it. I'm looking to lose about 20-25 lbs. to get back to my pre=preg. weight. Or if something else has worked for you let me know. I am exercising but I need a better diet for sure.

I have had success with weight watchers. However, I do not go to meetings and am not an official member. My sister and I each bought a kit with the books, calculator, etc. on ebay for around $60.00 each and have been doing it together. Keeping a food journal and using the ww points system as a guide I have gone down two clothing sizes already. Trying to lose the rest of the baby weight. Switching to diet coke or coke zero from regular cokes and cutting my fast food trips to a minimum has helped a lot. Good luck on your diet!
Try switching to diet sodas and flavored waters and eat more grilled food and chicken and veggies that's what worked for me.
Try recording what you eat and keep your calorie intake low (say, around 1400 calories a day). I lost 40 pounds last year by logging my food in a free website called Calorie Count. They have thousands of foods in their system, so if you eat something, just look it up and add it to your log. It helps me keep track of other things - like fat, sodium, etc. You might also try aerobics. I love Jazzercise. Some of the YMCAs around town are now offering Zumba. Sometimes if you just want to lose a little, all you need to do is eat a little less and add a little more exercise.
