Hi J.,
I really likes a Sarah's Ride. If you are handy at sewing you could make one. It's less confining than a ring sling and not as hot. Just look it up on the internet.

I have a Mobey wrap, I LOVE IT. It is so easy once you get the hang of wrapping...directions are included...I still use it for my almost 14 month old. You can go to mobeywrap.com
The Peanut Shell! I LOVE mine! Got it when my daughter was an infant and even at 20 months we LOVE it. Very comfortable and super easy to use (no fuss!). Highly recommend it!
I got mine from Baby Grand (in St. Paul on Grand Ave). Was very nice to be able to try it on and test it out before purchasing. But here's the website. http://www.thepeanutshell.com/
Good luck!

I used a pouch sling for the infant stage http://www.kangarookorner.com/p-26-adjustable-fleece-pouc... (a nice cuddly fleece one for winter) and a moby wrap http://www.mobywrap.com/ for when he was older. The pouch was great because I could just slip it on and off and I felt that it was very secure. The Moby Wrap had a much steeper learning curve, but once you figure it out it is so versatile. We continued to use it through age 2 as a back carrier.
I have a Baby Bjorn which isn't really a sling, but I really like it. I've heard wonderful things about the Moby wrap! I think I might try one next time around because it seems more versatile than my current carrier. =)
I loved our New Native sling. Someone else gave you the website. Only trick is it is sized - I used a small and my husband used a medium (luckily one was donated to us).
New Native is the brand of the one I used. I was very happy with it!
eBay has a wonderful assortment from the best on the market to the best of the home crafters; and in just about any color or print you could desire! I bought a couple and then made myself a couple more - one for every season!
i used the moby wrap! VERY comfortable, and though it might take some practice, its fantastic! :P
I love the Sleepy Wrap from www.sleepywrap.com.
Check out www.thebabywearer.com.
Well, you are in the right place - there is a business that advertises here called Momma´s Milkshake that has high quality - reasonably priced baby gear that Moms and Babes need. I have seen her products and she is a nurse and teaches classes on breastfeeding has has had 3 children. She is very responsible and has tons of information on her products and can help you choose the sling most helpful to you and YOUR body. Have fun!
There are a lot of sling reviews here: http://uggamugga.blogspot.com/search/label/baby%20carriers!
Best of luck finding one that works best for you! Slings are a must when you have a toddler to chase after! Especially the third time around I'm now finding out! :)
I love my peanut shell one. You ordered by your size. So, no rings involved.
We love our Moby Wrap!!

I have had 6 babies and finally on baby number 6 I got it right the Moby Wrap is great. My son is 1 month old and was born with a broken arm so we have be holding him alot because we want him to feel safe after his painful birth. There for I have a very needy baby. By back has been killing my carrying him around all the time. Yesterday my friend went to Birth Baby and Beyond in Cedar Rapids and picked me up a Moby Wrap and we tried it out. You can also order them on amazon.com or Target.com. No back pain and sleeping baby within minutes. I went to Walmart and used it there no problem. In fact I used it once I got home to put him to bed. Deep sleeping baby within minutes and slipped him out of in an right into bed. I highly recomend it. Good Luck!
