How do I get my 11 month old on a BETTER sleep schedual?? I always let her play on the floor til she got tired around 9 and id put her in bed with a small bubba and she would be asleep in few min. After a week of staying up til 2 when she was teething she now wants to play til atleast 12 sometimes later but i have to let her fall asleep on the floor and move her to bed. if i put her in bed with bubba and leave for her to sleep she gets up EVERY time now and will scream or hit her face off the crib side!! does anyone have any ideas on how i can get her to go to bed earlier and in her crib without hurting herself?! i havent slept more than 4 hours in a night in months. i need sleep. help me!

What can I do next?

What I would do (I have one almost 11 months old) is go in there and lay her down and say goodnight it's time for sleep then walk out. Let her cry for a few minutes then go back in there and lay her down, but don't say anything this time, and walk out. Let her cry for a little longer each time etc. I learned this from super nanny and tried it and it worked for me... good luck!

Does she nap late? If she does then don't let her take an evening nap and see if that helps. Isn't it crazy how one week of change throws everthing off. My son is 11 months and I was very sick last week 104 temp and my husband was out of town working so at night I would just nurse my son and lay him in bed with me. He still gets up aroung 4 or 5 to nurse and I was so weak and he is heavy. Now he will not even lay in his crib for a nap he shoots up as soon as I lay him down...IDK what to do with him. That crying it out work(as jaimee mentions) but I have two older kids that to school and their room is right next to the babys so I can't really do that. Good Luck I am one tired Mama too!

Do not make too many changes this week, the clocks will be changing next weekend and you will have to start all over again.

She still needs about 2 naps a day until 15 months old so I would put her in at 9a and 1p for naps then bed around 7:30 p. She can learn to fall asleep on her own in the crib, might need to let her cry a bit but give her a lovey and pacifier if she will take one.

I agree with Jaimee K. I saw the exact same thing on super nanny. Try recording or watching the supernanny because she has episodes on how to deal with that issue all the time. Good luck!

I would look at her naps first- is she napping past say 3-4pm? If so, then that might be a problem. If not, then I would just keep turning the time15- 30 minutes earlier each night until she gets back on schedule. Sounds like it was the week off schedule that was the problem. Also, make sure you do the same thing to get ready for bed every night so she know s that it is time for bed. We do bath, pjs, books, and then bed religously everynight. Be confident that she will be successful with getting back in the swing of things...they can smell fear! If you are hesitant when you put her down, thinking "Oh not...is this going to work?"...she will sense it! She is at the prime age to start to test you. Good luck Mama!
