I used the positioners, or the wedge, with my son. He used if for a few months but ultimately we couldnt keep him off of his stomach. But try it, they arent very expensive at all.
i was wondering if any mom out there has tried any of those sleep positioners they have out on the market now. my daughter loves to sleep on her tummy but at night i put her on the back and i tried to tuck the blanket under her to make her feel tight but she likes to kick her legs so she gets pissed with my son i used rolled up blankets and put at his sides while he was in the bassent. but this one i'm scared that she will find a way to get under them in the middle of the night. i was thinking about buying one of the positioners but i wanted to here what others moms had to say about it.

The positioners work like a charm and are not very expensive!
We used a sleep positioner for our little girl and it worked very well. She slept in a bassinet in our room and the positioner kept her on her back- She would wiggle towards the bottom of the positioner throughout the night-but it did keep her on her back.
I bought one of those wedges when my youngest son was a baby. Like the others stated, it worked great until he learned how to roll over on his own lol.
i tried them because my daughter moves all over her crib and i was trying to keep her in one spot so i got a sleep positioner and she still moved around sleep positioner and all!!! LOL!! all you can do is try i think its safer than the blankets for right now!!!
I used one of those wedges that goes behind their backs so they stay on their side for all 3 of mine. It worked great.
my son did that when he was little too. I asked the doc and she told me that once they start to turn over themselves theres nothing you can do to stop it, and the sleep position is no longer your choice. As long as you put her to bed on her back shes fine. I wouldn't leave blankets and stuff in the crib though
Yes, I used one and it seemed to work just fine up until my son was able to turn over. I say try it first to see if you like it. I had that trouble once with my son wanting to sleep on his tummy and I spent so much time putting him on his back, I never got any rest and he kept waking up!!! I finally decided to let him be because it was driving both of us crazy and he seemed to like his stomach more than his back.
We used a sleep positioner for my son to keep him on his side or back. It worked pretty well for us.
Good luck!
