I would love to hear any ideas for a boys sixteenth birthday party in the DFW area. This is for my cousins son who is into skateboarding, video games-the usual. I look forward to hearing any and all ideas. Thanks!

What can I do next?

I will tell you that if he is big into skateboarding, she might want to check out Woodward Skate Park in Grapevine Mills Mall. My son's best friend had her birthday party there & they all loved it. Not only did they have the skate park but they have the mall to run around & the movies afterwards. I hope she gets it figured out & that he has fun. That is such a special birthday.

My oldest turned 16 last December 4 (wow, he'll be 17 in just 4 weeks!). He chose to take a couple friends with us to ICE! at the Gaylord in Grapevine and then we had dinner at Texan Station, a huge sports restaurant.

Main Event is another good option with all of the things the kids can do including laser tag. Main Event does lock-ins, don't know if the cost would be prohibitive. If she is trying to keep costs down, there are also skateboard parks that are free.

Don't know if it would appeal to older kids but the Fort Worth Zoo has an overnight program. They are allowed to spend the night at the zoo doing things that people normally don't get to see, etc, which is different and might actually appeal even to the cool 16-year-olds.

Is this a peer party or is it family so that the ages are wide, not just 16?

At Grapevine Mills Mall there is a indoor skatepark my son loves and next door to it is Game Works. I know both have party plans.
