I love Sigg bottles. No fear of the scary things in plastic and really cute too. they are aluminum and easy to take care of. Kleen Kanteen also makes a stainless one that is dishwasher safe.
My soon to be 1 year old has been using the Nuby soft spout sippy cups for several months now. I need to switch him to a different type of cup because he keeps chewing on the spouts creating holes and big messes too. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
C.
Thanks for your suggestions. We tried the Playtex and he does great with them!

Get him on the hard plastic cups. He sounds overdue. Don't want him swallowing that rubber stuff. Yuck!
welcome to the world of sippy cups! they chew them all. nothing you can do to stop that. you might want to check into the tupperware cups with the sippy lids! we bought those when our kids were little and still have the cups and lids and our youngest son is now 14. he obviously doesn't use the lids anymore, but the cups are still perfect.
We have always used the playtex ones..never leak! I suggest buying one kind and sticking to it...so all the stoppers are the same and less chaotic in the cabinet
I love the Playtex ones as well.
Another vote for Playtex. My son loves them.
My daughter loves the playtex brand too. She loves the handles they also never leak!
We love the Playtex brand sippys. They have worked the best for us. They actually invented the sippy cup :)
I love the Take and Toss cups. They are not a sippy cup, yet a regular cup with a lid and a spout. The spout has 3 little holes in it. Basically the sippy is a glorified bottle. They're also BPA free.
My daughter is a year and will only take the Gerber ones. But after reading your other responses I may try the Playtex ones as well. Good luck!
We use the plastic bottles with the straw that can be lifted up for sucking. Rubbermaid makes them. We switched from more traditional sippy cups after our son's speech therapist shared concern that the traditional sippy cup can affect speech, because of repeated placement of the tongue (can't remember anything more specific than that!).
We also use small aluminum bottles for the car only - because we need to monitor that more to prevent loss!
Best of luck,

My son used NUby too- then I switched him to the Gerber take and toss- they work really well.
Love the Playtex ones too and we also love the Avent trainer cups with the handles!
