Honestly that is a low amount, I think your best bet would be to check out the CPS preschools in your area. There are some that take on 2-3 year olds and they don't really cost anything. Go to CPS website if you live in the city and see what is available to you. Also, I know the Teddy Bear Preschools in the city are lower cost. Also, why aren't you receiving any assistance? If you get no child support, have two kids and are not making much, make sure you are applying for all the help you can get. WIC, daycare, LINK, medical care....you need to provide the best for the kids. If you haven't already, visit your local DHS office and start the long process of filling out the forms to get approved. Its worth it if you can get some help.
