Are those the rubbery like ones? If so, I wonder how those work also. I hope you get some replies! =)
I need to buy some round cake pans. I'm looking at getting the silicone ones, but I haven't seen any reviews as to how good they are compared to the regular metal pans. Any advice is appreciated!

I haven't used a cake pan but I've used muffin tins and they are okay. Make sure you spray them with some Pam or something first, even if it says not to. Honestly, I thought they are kind of cool, and a great concept, but I don't love them. I'd probably never buy another silicone baking piece again, but the one I have is fine, I won't ditch it yet!
I love mine, they are so much easier to clean up afterwards. Just be aware, they only go in heat then they can't be used. I don't know what temp it is but I cook in mine at 350 degrees all the time.
Haven't heard how they work or if they are safe. Wouldn't the silicone behave like plastic?....you know how "they" say the BHAs get into the bottled water if the water is left in the car/sun. I would google it first.
I have a 9" round and a 10" bundt silicone cake pan. Love them both. I've never had to put a cookie sheet under them for rigidity. I HAVE come across the cleaning issue. I notice the cooking spray does not wash off in the dishwasher very easily. However, things come out very easily. You DO have to be a little careful with bake times, though, because of the difference between metal & silicone. I usually put my stuff in for the shortest time, then check & adjust from there.
I have some. I primarily use my cupcake ones, and they work well. I also have a round cake pan, small rectangular loaf pan, and a flat baking sheet. They bake evenly, and the food comes out good (make sure to spray with cooking spray). A problem with them would be that they are hard to clean (even in the dishwasher...it just doesn't get any little extra batter off...I've given up on that one...they just look dirty all the time). Also, something that I should have thought about before buying them was that since they are silicone, they are NOT rigid...meaning you really have to use a metal baking pan underneath them for support (which sort of defeats the purpose of buying silicone since you have to buy metal to go underneath it).
I use the bread ones and love them. I don't spray or otherwise prep them, just dump the batter in. The bread comes out so easily. I do put them on a cookie sheet to take in and out of the oven so I can move two loaves easily with one hand. they clean up quickly too. Sorry can't help with cake ones specifical
