I have searched Target, Walmart, and a couple other department stores for good quality shoes 30 dollars and under and have had no luck at all. I am looking for a comfortable pair of dark colored shoes for my son to wear to school. Last year I bought him some white Nike shoes which were under $30 except they got so darn filthy so quickly. Generally the darker colored Nikes are more expensive. If anyone knows of a store close to Lake Worth where they sell shoes for a reasonable price I would love to know the place! Thank you very much.

We've had some success at Rack Room Shoes. There's one in the Boynton Bch Mall. We especially love it when they have their sales! Payless BOGO sale works, too. (I mostly buy the leather shoe styles there.) A good consignment shop may also have "lightly used" shoes... although I'm sure that's harder for older kids.

I like to go to Marshalls and TJ Maxx. You can find some better names for less there. Also, there a lot of really nice consignment stores with higher end (excellent quality) shoes. I like Red Balloon on Forest Hill Blvd. There is a huge thrift store on Dixie Hwy called World Thrift and I have bought my daughter three pair of leather shoes from there only you'll really have to pick to get something good. However, the prices are great so for me, it's worth the time. It's on Dixie in Lake Worth. Good luck!
I buy all my son's sneakers at Skechers Outlet at Military & Okeechobee in WPB. I also go to Payless & have gotten some quality shoes there for good prices. Good Luck.
