Does anyone know of some great shoes for mostly standing/walking, sometimes heavy lifting/carrying for 10+ hours on hard floors? Need something reasonably priced, that will help with ankle/foot/leg pain after a long day of working. I've tried the skechers with memory foam and they really don't help. All ideas are welcome, thanks in advance!!

What can I do next?

For the most inexpensive way, go for the doctor Sholes insert machine and get some. The arch support is what you need. You could also see a podiatrist for a better diagnosis. My H got some great insoles from his for only $35! I think they are called Power Step. Loves them.

I would lean towards getting some cushion inserts for the shoes along with arch supports. This way you can swap them out for new ones or change the style during your day when you feet want something new.

I hope this helps. This is what I used to do when I had a job on my feet all day.

Have you tried Clark's and Easy Spirit? Macy's & Dillards carry them.
Good Luck.....

They are pricey but so worth it... Clark's walking shoes are the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn.

Go to a shoe store that trains their staff in fitting shoes. I've found this at The Shoe Mill. Find a specialty store.
