Does anyone know of some discount shoe stores that would carry larger shoe sizes? I would like for the shoes to be clear or gold in color. Thanks so much!

What can I do next?

No one will notice the bridesmaid shoes as much as you think. I told my bridesmaids what color I would prefer. They paid to come to my wedding and the dress the least I could do was let them buy shoes they would wear again. It would save you the headache of finding shoes. I have been married for 2 years and people remember what I look like but not so much my bridesmaids. That makes me happy.

Good luck and congratulations.

Have you tried DSW? They have a huge supply of shoes and I would think be able to find several pairs in a size 10 for you...best of luck!!

If budget and size are your main concern, you could try Payless Shoes. The carry size 10+, and wide widths, have dressy shoes, and cheap. You could find them in the store, and it is okay if shoes aren't exactly the same as long as same color as other bridesmaids, or you can order on their website. Then, you could also try that famous shoe store on Post Oak and San Felipe (I think that is the correct location), but sorry I can't remember the name of the shop. They carry a wide range of shoe sizes, more expensive, but they can special order exactly what you want and would have a larger variety of formal styles than Payless (better quality too of course). I wear size 11, so I know how difficult it is.

Hey there~
Congratulations on your wedding! I am a wedding photographer and so often visit wedding related sites... Have you checked The Knot? There is a Houston based forum where the brides to be can talk and give each other advice/tips etc., You might ask on there.. they seem to be a wealth of information.

Good luck!

I would try Payless as well. There are many of them and I am sure they can check stock at their other locations. Also if you order online with them your order can be shipped to a store location you choose and there is no charge for that.
Congratulations and Good Luck

Try Shoe Cents or Bakers.

Shoe Cents might work. If they don't have as many pairs as you need, they can call other locations to check their stock. (Do they have to be one-time-only shoes?)

I was just looking at kohls.com yesterday and they had a really cute pair of gold heals on there (in their clearance section of the website) for around $20 - and I think they had 10's available. Good luck! (Another site would be www.jcp.com - and look at their "outlet" site.)

you could just choose a color and let each bridesmaid pick the show that they would like since like you said they will only wera it once...maybe by them picking the shoe themselves thay might wear the shoe again. That seemed to work for my friends wedding of course her shoe color she choose what black. Hope that helped.
