I googled silver boys shoes and saw tons of tennis. New Balance makes a wide shoe, I think.

Mamas & Papas-
DS is intent on getting some silver shoes/ sandals. Can you recommend some that would suit? He's an 11.5 W. Looking for something unisex, or boyish. Can't find anything that suits. There isn't much available on the boy side, and the girl items are super fem. I thought there must be something like a birkenstock, or a fisherman sandal, or even a jelly or a croc, or a converse that woud do the trick. I'll be shopping online.
Best,
F. B.

Toms has a very cute pair of silver shoes. They don't come in wide but my son who typically wears wide can wear regular in Toms b/c they do stretch a bit.
Are you sure he doesn't mean light up sneakers?

I know they make tennis shoes with silver on them, because our neighborhood High school team has silver (Grey) as one of their school colors and I see the kids at the elementary, middle and high school wearing silver accented tennis shoes all of the time.
Adidas, Nike & Reef all make black with silver. Ecco yucatan is more silvery. I don't get shoe sizing yet so not sure if kids or mens...
I have seen silver Converse in some of the teeny bopper stores in the mall. They also have silver Birkenstocks on amazon.
Fabric paint, yo. Buy some boy sandals (on clearance at Walmart!) and use silver fabric paint on them. Go cheap because you know he'll be growing out of them in a month.
Make em yourself! Silver fabric paint on basic keds or vans or any other canvas shoe.
See Pinterest for tips and photos!
I agree, do them yourself. He can help too.
We take regular tap shoes and put strong glue on them like E-6000. You can paint it on with a disposable paint brush or paint sponge, Walmart has them in the paint supply section really cheap.
Then sprinkle glitter or sequins or pieces of fabric. If you use fabric you might want to lightly paint over the edges to make sure they're sealed.
You can use fabric tennies from Dollar General or clearance stuff from Walmart. He could even pick out the shoes if you can find some selections that are cheap enough to craft with them.
