We have one and I was actually surprised. We use it on the tile - though it says it can be used on the carpet as well. Better thanI expected... for the price.
Has anyone out there tried the SharkVX3? I am thinking about getting one because I think with the broom you are just moving dust around. I saw it on TV and thought it might really work but am somewhat skeptical. Would really appreciate any comments if anyone has tried it.

I have heard Sharks suck. My friend just returned hers. Look on consumer reports.
What I have found works best for me is sweeping into piles and then using my heavy duty dustbuster to suck up the piles, as well as get into the corners and along baseboards.
Hi T.! My mom got me the Shark for Christmas (turbo) and we LOVE IT! The only problem is the handle broke off and I need to contact them to see if they will fix it or replace it (I wasn't misuing it). I miss it dearly. buy one - just be careful with the handle!

I had the older version and when me moved it was lost. So when I saw the new one at Costco I got it. I think it works great, I have not used it on hard wood, just on carpet and it is good for daily pickups. It will not replace mopping or a regular vacuum, but for easy daily clean ups I love it!
I'm not sure about that Model particularly, we had one which worked fine when it was new, but stopped charging properly pretty quickly. We also have dogs, so the hair really does a job on most vacuums and floor cleaners.
I've never personally used one, but a close friend says she wouldn't trade hers for anything!
