OMG it was a heat index of about 110 here today, so I did not want to cook so much as toast, lol! We had a ton of frozen shrimp, so we fired up the grill and hid in the house until the coals were hot and grilled them up. Shrimp are so quick to grill, it was tolerable. I just did a variety of quick marinades, like bbq sauce, lemon pepper, garlic lime, and just plain old butter and salt. Each skewer was a different flavor, so we had a nice variety. We just served with a fresh garden salad and a fruit salad of berries, papaya and melon. I did make some crescent rolls from a tube in the oven, because my boys NEED to have some bread with dinner, lol!
