Several Questions!

1.) We just got a Wii and I'm wondering whether to find the money for a Wii Fit/Balance Board... Are there other Wii programs that are fun for grown-ups or 4-year-old boys?
2.) I'm trying to find cheap airfare to the Carribbean. For searching online, are certain days of the week cheaper for flying? How far before flying is best to buy tickets? Any other tricks that are handy to know?
3.) To be completely random, my back itches. (Yep: Wii, airplanes, and itching. Random!) There are no red marks or anything (according to my husband) and I've been using lotion. We started making our own laundry detergent, which could cause it, but could there be other causes or solutions?

lovin' the randomness! i, too, am a random person. i confuse the rigid and uptight all the time!

as far as the wii, wii fit is actually really fun for kids and grown ups. just do the training programs and play the balance games. there's a cute one where you're a penguin on an iceberg and you have to catch fish.

wii play is fun for the younger ones too. bowling is always a hit for all ages. most of the other games we have we didn't get til my son was about 5 or 6.

the itchiness also hits me around now, on my back and scalp. i've tried eucerin and that seems to help. i also use neutrogena sesame oil for after the shower. that seems to pre-moisturize. try not to use such hot water too.

can't really help you with the flight deals thing. my husband does all of that. i have heard of cheapcarribbean.com. you can try that.

have fun with all of this info!!!

If you try changing detergent and that doesn't work, consider any other changes you've made recently.

I was itchy too, with no red marks, and finally realized I was allergic to the multivitamins I was taking! That was the only new thing in my life. I switched brands, and now I'm fine. I'm sure I was allergic not to the vitamins themselves, but the coating and whatever else they put in them.

We just got the Wii fit with the balance board for christmas and my kids LOVE it!! my kids are 7,6 and 4 and even my 4 year old can play it.. there are really cool games for the kids to play like the penguin slide you just lean back and forth on the board to catch the fish and the slolam skiing.. same thing except you go between flags they also have the hoola hoop which is a lot of fun :0) there is soccer where you dodge the ball and a snowball fight one.. there are PLENTY for your little one to play... as far as the other stuff I am not sure on.. havent flown in a while and last time i looked up flights it was WAY too expensive so we decided the next trip we take we will drive.. there are 5 of us so plane tickets would be around $3000 and to drive it would be about $1000 in gas so i would rather go that route..lol Good luck!! :0)

Lotions tend to have perfumes ect that really provide no relief to the skin, try Vasiline or the generic form of Eucerin Cream, apply nice and thick. Your homemade soap may also not be as gentle as just purchasing a mild dye free detergent. Drink plent of water and if you are in the winter snow area, No NOT shower every day, maybe everyother. Oh...PS Aveno Oatmeal cream is also nice.

I just got a Wii and the Wii Fit (balance board/fit games) and I love it! I have never been the nintendo sort (or very technoloigical at all for that matter!) and I was very impressed with the Wii Fit technology and the games. I am glad that we waited until this year to get it, I am hearing that its better this time around than when it first came out.

I don't know about flying to the Carribean, but I do know that as a general rule to buying tickets that it is usually better to buy something for Tuesday through Thursday because less people fly in the middle of the week.

As for the itching, go with All Free and Clear laundry detergent if you have become sensitive to what you are using. I don't know if its the detergent you are making at home, but it sure sounds like it! You can also try running an extra rinse on your clothing in an effort to get the soap completely out of your clothes, that could be the problem also. Good luck!

Hi W.;
To give you a little insight.
1. We also have a Wii, but I at this point in time I can't get the Wii Fit/Balance Board. Nonetheless, we have the Wii Sports, the Wii Resort and the Wii Olympic games that my children and I love to play. You actually have a lot of fun with those games regardless of your age. So, if you can check those out. You don't have to get them all, but as you check them out you'll see what is best for you guys.
You can also try this website http://www.freecycle.org, and see if they are available in your area. People just give and receive stuff for free.
2.Traveling in the middle of the week is best. You will get significantly lower prices. Check this website out and you can book the tickets yourself and compare them with other airlines http://www.ytbtravel.com/potter
3.Your sking could be dry even if you are using lotion. You need to use a different lotion or vaseline. You could also be allergic to your own laundry detergent. Try changing back and see if it makes a different. Just buy a small container of detergent and try it out.
I hope this helps. Have a blessed day.
