Hi! My daughter is a beginner in swimming and is very much interested in learning. Where is the good place for her to take the lessons? Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

It depends on where you live. The YMCA is a good place to start, Also check out any local colleges. Harvard, BU, MIT, and Tufts (to name just 4) give swimming lessons at reasonable prices.

It depends on where you live. if you are i the quincy/milton braintree area, walker swimming gives lessons in quincy saturday mornings. also i've ehard that the y gives lessons - you don't have to be a member, just more $ for non-members. it's too late for this year probably, but many rec depts. offer swimming lessons in the summer as well

Hi C.,
I live in Woburn and our boys and girls club offers swim lessons at a much cheaper price than our YMCA. The classes were never full, the instructors were very patient and my son loved going!
